Why filter RV water?
When you hook up at a park or campground, you're taking whatever comes out of that spigot: sediment, rust, chlorine taste, and hard water. A filter at the hookup protects your RV's plumbing, water heater, and fixtures, and makes the water better to drink and cook with.
Our RV filter systems
- 1-stage Big Blue system: a single 10-inch cartridge housing. Simple and compact, and a good choice for sediment or for carbon taste-and-odor filtration.
- 2-stage Big Blue system: two 10-inch housings in series, typically sediment first and carbon second, for cleaner water at every hookup.
Big Blue housings use the large-diameter 10-inch cartridge size, which holds more media and keeps flow strong compared with small inline filters. Replacement cartridges are standard sizes, so they're easy to keep on hand.
